Dr. Shah Hamid is a General Practitioner, a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Ioannina.
He has served as the Coordinator for the Education of General Medicine Residents in the South Aegean Region – Cyclades, Coordinaing Director of the Santorini Health Center – Thirasia & Anafi Health Centers, as well as a trainer at the Nursing School of Kavala and Director of the Emergency Department at the General Hospital of Thira, Santorini.
He has served as President at National/International Conferences on General Medicine for the past 22 years.
He has published and presented at more than 50 international, pan-European, and national General Medicine conferences, as well as in Greek medical journals.
He has attended up to 250 seminars/training courses related directly to Primary Health Care.
He is a disciplinary member of the Medical Association of the Cyclades, the Union of General and Family Doctors of Greece (EL.E.GE.IA), a founding member of the Volunteer Blood Donors Association of Pakistan in Athens, a member of the Diabetic Society of Greece, a member of the International Union of General Practitioners "WONCA," a member of the Greek Atherosclerosis Society and a member of the Medical Association of Great Britain (UK).
With specialized training in a variety of medical practices and procedures, he has acquired extensive skills and knowledge in disease diagnosis, treatment planning and execution, and therapeutic management. His clinical experience ranges from conducting physical exams to referring for surgical procedures. His passion for providing healthcare with empathy and compassion, combined with his commitment to continuous education and research, has enabled him to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care throughout the years.
