We are announcing the opening of a General - Family Medicine Clinic at the Mediterraneo First Care - Santorini Polyclinic with Dr. Alexandros Hamid Shah serving as the Medical Director. Dr. Shah, a member of the Cyclades Medical Association since 2003, has an extensive scientific, educational, and social background, with long service at the Thira Public Hospital and experience in the National Health System. He is now joining the already impressive team of Mediterraneo First Care.
The General - Family Medicine Department provides comprehensive medical care, including the diagnosis and treatment of acute or chronic illnesses. Regular preventive check-ups are scheduled based on individual and family history, age, and gender. If necessary, referrals for further specialized examination are made.
The continuous and personal relationship between the patient and the doctor is the foundation of General – Family Medicine and leads to the provision of comprehensive medical care. This new addition to the Mediterraneo First Care Santorini Polyclinic enhances the healthcare services provided to both the permanent residents and the visitors of Santorini and the Cyclades.
